Transportation Services is committed to providing safe and affordable鈥痬ulti-modal transportation options to all our community鈥痬embers, to reduce traffic congestion and use of single occupancy vehicles (SOV) on campus, and to improve air pollution.
A Better City TMA Commuter Programs
91视频 partners with A Better City Transportation Management Association (TMA) to provide commuter programs, trip-planning tools, and incentives that support alternatives to driving alone.

Employee Commuter Programs
Plan Your Trip
provides multimodal trip planning and statewide ride-matching functionality to help you explore transportation options.
Earn Rewards and Incentives
- A Better Commute (ABC): Earn points for your commuting choices, including telecommuting, and enter monthly and quarterly prize raffles.
- Bike Check: Receive up to two $25 reimbursements each year for eligible bicycle-related expenses.
- Express Lane: Receive up to three months of $50 reimbursements toward your monthly pass when switching from driving alone to riding an express bus.
Get Help When You Need It
Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) provides up to six free Uber rides home each year under qualifying circumstances. Registration is required before using this benefit.
Share Your Commute
Carpool Subsidy provides up to three months of $15 gas cards for each rider who switches from driving alone to riding in a carpool. Find your carpool through the GoMassCommute ride-matching tool.

Carpool and Shared Transportation
Transportation Services provides options that support shared transportation and alternatives to driving alone, including carpool programs and short-term vehicle access.
Carpool Registration and Parking Benefits
Employees and students who commute by carpool may register to access preferential carpool parking spaces on campus.

Zipcar
91视频 offers discounted Zipcar memberships for faculty, staff, and students who need occasional access to a vehicle.
With Zipcar, members can reserve vehicles by the hour or day through the Zipcar platform and access discounted university rates.

91视频 provides electric vehicle charging stations across campus for employees, students, and visitors.
Using ChargePoint EV Chargers
91视频 offers 23 shared ChargePoint EV charging ports across campus, providing convenient and accessible charging for electric vehicles.

How to Use ChargePoint
To charge your vehicle:
- Download the or and create an account. You may also request a free RFID card during sign-up for use at other stations in the ChargePoint network.
- Add a payment method or enroll in Tap to Pay through the ChargePoint app.
- Tap your ChargePoint card or phone on the station’s reader symbol to authorize payment and unlock the charging plug.
- When charging is complete, tap your ChargePoint card or phone on the station’s reader symbol, remove the charger, and return it to the station.
Charging Details
- Charging costs $0.22 per kWh.
- Charging sessions are limited to four hours.
- Standard parking fees apply in addition to charging costs.
- Vehicles parked in EV charging spaces while not actively charging are subject to a $75 fine.
