Intramural Sports
Intramural sports programming is open to all current 91视频 students, faculty and staff. Students choose to play and have fun for many different reasons. Some enjoy the competition, camaraderie, and social aspects. Others prefer the fitness benefits, stress relief and a short break from classes and studying.
Intramural Sports offers a variety of sports and activities throughout the school year ranging from outdoor soccer and basketball leagues to wiffleball and pickleball tournaments.
The 91视频 welcomes participation by all students in athletics activities and programs, and operates athletics activities and programs in full compliance with NCAA rules and state and federal anti-discrimination laws.

Registering for Intramural Sports
Intramural registration is done through Fusion Play, the mobile app that will handle all things Intramurals. You must download this mobile app to register for Intramural Sports and login using your UMB sign on credentials, similar to logging into WISER or Canvas.
Download the Fusion Play App in the app store by clicking here or search for "Fusion Play".
Logging into Fusion Play (mobile app only on your phone)
All Intramural Sports programming is done through the FusionPlay mobile app. To download the app on your phone, just search FusionPlay wherever you download your apps.
Download the FusionPlay mobile app.
Select “Sign in” when opening the app.
Use your UMB email and then it will prompt you to enter your password and authenticate the same way you would as if logging into UMB email or WISER.
You will then be signed into the app and be able to browse all the offerings!
Signing up to Play an Intramural Sport
We recommend signing up as a team rather than as an individual. Teams that register will be scheduled into competition when scheduled to begin. One person from the team is designated as a team captain or team administrator and is responsible for team management. See the captains section on this webpage for more information. Individuals registering as "free agents " or trying to find a team is generally a harder path to participation. Individuals registering can reach out to other team captains and see what teams are looking for players to join them.
Log into the FusionPlay app.
Find the sport that you are interested in playing on the list of sports. The home page of the app lists all the sport details, such as registration deadlines, days of play, and has attachments to rules and intramural policies.
If applicable, select which league you are interested in joining. All available leagues and events for registration will be listed under “all leagues” on the home page. You can also filter by sport at the top of the home page screen.
When opening the sport league, you will be given the option to create a team or join as a free agent by creating the “+” button in the bottom right corner. If you have a team, you can walk through the steps to create a team. If you do not have a team and wish to join as a free agent, you can follow the steps to join as a free agent in the division you choose.
Note: some activities are sorted by division instead of league. You may need to click on the specific division you want to join by tapping that division within the league.
If you are planning to join an already established team, the team captain can invite you to join the team via message or simple text message invitation link. You can also request to join the team via the app.
Free Agents
Free Agents are individual players who want to play the sport being offered but either do not have enough players to form a full team or do not have any other teammates ready to play.
Registering as a free agent:
Go to the league page of what sport/activity you want to participate in.
Click the + button in the bottom right hand corner of the app and then “become a free agent” on the sign up page.
Sign the liability waiver that pops up if you haven’t already done so on your profile.
You will become a free agent looking for a team in the division or league you register for. If the sport is divided into divisions, you are able to add yourself as a free agent to all divisions available if you choose.
We will try to hold a free agent and small group registration meeting to organize players onto and form teams.
Captains looking for free agents: Captains have the ability to look for free agents as well. If your team needs a secret weapon, or just looking for more players, a good place to look is the free agent list in a sport.
Free Agent teams: If there are enough free agents at any time in a sport and if there is open availability within leagues and divisions, the IM staff will attempt to form a free agent team with the available free agents. Due to scheduling constraints, free agent teams will be unlikely to choose a time to play and will have to play when there is open availability in the scheduling. Teams will only be formed if there is availability and enough free agents to form the minimum roster.
Many teams do not look for free agents, but on the app they can indicate whether they are looking for more players. The role of free agency is not for IM Staff to place players on teams, as many teams already have a set roster with people they know and formed the team with. This gives teams another option if they look for players or a chance to be made into a free agent team. Do not anticipate being added to an already formed team unless said team is actively seeking additional players.
