Biography
Dr. Soldner is an Associate Professor within the School for Global Inclusion and Social Development at UMASS Boston. He teaches graduate courses within the (MS) and GISD MA and PhD graduate programs. Dr. Soldner has facilitated 100+ presentations at academic conferences and training seminars. He has an extensive clinical background providing evidence-based services to individuals with disabilities and in a wide range of rehabilitation and educational settings. Dr. Soldner is a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC).

School for Global Inclusion and Social Development (SGISD). He conducts scholarly research, teaches graduate coursework, and is involved in various service activities within SGISD. Soldner teaches in the (MS) and Global Inclusion and Social Development ( and ) graduate programs within SGISD. He is a past principal investigator of a rehabilitation long-term training grant (Rehabilitation Services Administration, Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, U.S. Department of Education, funded 2015–2020, $917,661).
Dr. Soldner has published scholarly research on a range of topics generally related to rehabilitation and behavior analysis. He has facilitated 100+ professional presentations at academic conferences and training seminars at the local, state, national, and international levels. His current research and teaching interests include the applications of behavior analysis to rehabilitation, evidence-based practice in rehabilitation, contemporary issues in rehabilitation administration and leadership, brain injury rehabilitation, clinical and administrative supervision, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.

Before joining SGISD, Dr. Soldner held tenure-track faculty appointments at Utah State University and Assumption University. He has an extensive clinical background providing services to individuals with disabilities in a wide variety of rehabilitation and educational settings. He is a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC).
